
SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 35
(By Senators Unger and Snyder)
Recognizing Leadership Berkeley for its service, dedication and
commitment to Berkeley County, West Virginia.

Whereas, Leadership Berkeley is dedicated to the development
and enhancement of Berkeley County; and

Whereas, The objective of Leadership Berkeley is to promote
knowledge and awareness of the problems, opportunities and issues
facing Berkeley County; and

Whereas, Leadership Berkeley is designed to provide a series
of educational and participatory experiences, as well as an
opportunity for dialogue and the development of a correlation among
participants, in order to encourage local participation in the
growth of Berkeley County; and

Whereas, Leadership Berkeley, whose members include
individuals from nearly every facet of Berkeley County's business,
professional, religious, governmental, educational, civic groups,
arts, organized labor and minority organizations, demonstrates a
commitment to the community; and

Whereas, The 2000-2001 members of Leadership Berkeley are: Rob
Abruzzino, Huntington National Bank; Brenda Bohrer, Veterans
Medical Center; Jan Callen, United Way of Berkeley and Morgan County; Barbara Cline, Albright Crumbacker Moul and Intell;
Dannetta Cochran, Potomac Construction Industries; Michael Covell,
City of Martinsburg; David Dalton, BB&T; Kelly Deronda Veterans
Administration Medical Center; Ernie Dotson, Berkeley County
Schools; Norma Dugan, Jefferson Security Bank; Robert Grove; Joyce
Hobbs, Berkeley County Schools; Vicki Jenkins, James Rumsey
Technical Institute; Curtis Keller, Berkeley County Public Service
Sewer District; Mona Kissel, Air Photographics; Teresa McCabe, City
Hospital; Vonda Miller, F & M Bank; Kathie Palmer, City National
Bank; Dennis Pittsnogle, Comfort Inn Martinsburg; Carol Peilley,
Eastern Panhandle Regional Planning and Development Council, Region

Resolved by the Senate:

That the Senate hereby recognizes the accomplishments,
commitment, dedication and service of Leadership Berkeley; and, be
it

Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to the officials of Leadership Berkeley.
